Common Conditions
Back Pain
Many patients enter our care through back pain. This is mainly caused by same day injury and flare ups. The back pain we most commonly treat at our Osborne Park Chiropractic clinic is localised, non-radiating and has associated muscle spasm and decreased motion. Rarely do we find patients to have any sciatica. Of the few patients that have experienced sciatica, most would be from the “chronic” back pain group that have had back pain for many years. Luckily there are is more awareness about chiropractors now and by seeing a chiropractor there is a good chance that sciatica in future would not appear if back pain is caught early in the acute stage.
Neck Strain
Of all the conditions we help Osborne Park Chiropractic patients recover with, neck pain is the most obvious aesthetically. The acute stage neck pains tend to be worse than the more chronic longer term ones. Usually patients with acute neck pain have had some quite severe discomfort with a general whole neck spasm which greatly reduces neck movement. It is thought that many patients with chronic neck pain that appears intermittently in flare ups have built up acquired tolerance to the pain.
Knee Injury
Our physiotherapy team treat knee pain daily at the Innaloo Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic. Knee arthritis is common and one of the first areas to be detected and felt by many patients. Knees are used for daily ambulation and so it makes sense that they will be the first to commonly degenerate fastest of all of our joints. Chronic knee injuries and post-operative rehab for knee surgery are also treated by our Physiotherapists regularly.
Our physiotherapists treatment for knee injury may include therapeutic ultrasound, Stimulation, Physiotherapy Stretches and strengthening programs. Our stock of knee braces, strapping and additional service of dry needling has helped many knee patients at Innaloo Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic.
Why We Are Different…
With our team of chiropractors and physiotherapists at Complete Care Health and Innaloo Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic we can provide excellent co-management for many patients. This has proven to be effective in returning our patients back to work and sports in a more timely fashion than would otherwise be expected.
By physiotherapy treatments focusing on the muscle and chiropractors focusing on the bones and joints our combination therapy yields effective and interesting results. We are different because we openly communicate between physiotherapy and chiropractic and this helps all of us get well quicker without friction and hold ups that delay recovery in some organisiations with differing philosophies.
Our team of chiropractors and physiotherapists are West Australian, Perth born and raised and have come through the rigorous undergraduate degree programs for their associated professional awards.
Curtin University and Murdoch University pioneer the very best students each year with up to date approaches to treatment using evidence based medicine. Our team of allied health professionals play sport recreationally and are involved with sports teams for leisure, they understand the sports injury therapy aspect of patient care through their own sporting experience.
