Meet Dr Ian Messenger
BSc (Chiro), BChiro
Ian was born in Pingelly and originally studied to become an engineer.
He changed career paths and studied to become a chiropractor at Melbourne’s Phillip Institute (now RMIT) and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor in Applied Science (Chiropractic).
Since then Ian has practiced in a variety of locations throughout WA until finally settling in Maddington where he has practiced since 2001.
Ian’s approach to chiropractic treatment is with the meticulous trouble shooting ability of an engineer. He takes care to diagnose musculoskeletal dysfunctions and uses a variety of treatment methods to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference.
His techniques include myofacial release, trigger point, SOT and Logan technique for sacral and spinal alignment, Activator Method and kinesiology. Ian has been practising for several decades and has seen recurring ailments to more complex cases and is proud to have treatment and improved the lives of so many patients.
In his spare time Ian enjoys spending quality time with his family and is an active member of the Christian Fellowship Church.
